What is Excel to PDF?
Turn a spreadsheet into a PDF that looks like the sheet: column widths, row heights, merged cells, fonts, fills, borders, number formats and hyperlinks are carried over. You get a preview first, and can choose which sheets to include.
Wide sheets can be fitted to one page width, or split across pages. The conversion runs in your browser, so your workbook is never uploaded.
How to use Excel to PDF in 3 steps
Add your workbook
Drag a .xlsx or .xls file in. A preview of the first sheet appears.
Choose options
Pick sheets, orientation, paper size, fit-to-width and gridlines.
Convert
Download the PDF.
Good to know: Charts, sparklines and conditional formatting are not drawn. Formula cells show the last values saved in the file.
When to use it
Typical uses are price lists, schedules, reports and exports. Choose landscape for wide tables, and untick gridlines if you want a clean printed look.
Tip: formulas show the values stored in the file. Open and save the workbook in Excel first if a formula cell appears empty.
