What is Word to PDF?
Send a Word document as a PDF so it looks the same for everyone. This converter renders your .docx with its own layout — fonts, headings, tables, images, columns, headers and footers — shows you a preview, and then saves it as a PDF.
Links stay clickable and the text is selectable and searchable. The conversion runs in your browser, so your document is never uploaded.

Make sure the layout looks right.
Convert

Good to know: Pages are drawn as images with an invisible text layer. File sizes are larger than Word's own export, and non-Latin text is not searchable.
When to use it
Use it for letters, CVs, reports and contracts. Fonts that are not installed on your device (such as Calibri on some computers) are replaced by a similar font, so line breaks can shift slightly compared with Word.
Tip: protect the finished file with Protect PDF before sending it.

Word to PDF – frequently asked questions
Will it match Word's layout exactly?
It follows the document's layout closely, including tables, images and headers. Because browsers use the fonts available on your device, text can wrap slightly differently if the original fonts are missing.
Are links clickable and text selectable?
Yes. The PDF has an invisible text layer and link areas matching the document.
Does it support old .doc files?
No. Open the file in Word and save it as .docx first.
What about non-English scripts?
They display correctly in the PDF pages, but the hidden text layer only includes Latin characters, so search and copy work for those only.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Word to PDF runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device. Pagemint has no accounts and does not store your documents.
Is Word to PDF free?
Yes. Word to PDF is free to use, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit.
