What is Scan to PDF?
Paper still shows up everywhere: receipts, contracts, homework. Take a photo of each page with your phone, add them here, and see each page as a preview. Choose grayscale or black and white for a crisp, scanner-like look, adjust contrast and brightness, and rotate any page that came in sideways.
Photos are combined on your device and never uploaded. On a phone, the Choose Files button can open the camera directly.

When to use it

Does this straighten or crop the photos?
There is no automatic edge detection. You can rotate pages in 90 degree steps. Crop photos on your phone first for the cleanest result.
Is the text searchable?
Not by default because the pages are images. Run the finished PDF through OCR PDF to add a searchable text layer.
Which filter is best for text?
Black and white with a little extra contrast gives the cleanest result for text documents.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Scan to PDF runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device. Pagemint has no accounts and does not store your documents.
